What We Did
We laser-graded the full circular alignment before touching a piece of asphalt — establishing precise drainage slopes to both sides of the circle so water couldn’t collect at any point. Root intrusion at the concrete apron was addressed with targeted cuts and a root barrier before we poured new concrete for the entry. The asphalt was hand-finished at every landscape edge and at the transition to the new concrete — machine edges on a circular in a planting bed don’t cut it on a property like this.

The Outcome
The puddle is gone. The edges are clean against the beds. The concrete apron sits level at the street. The homeowner said a landscaper friend commented on the edge work specifically — which is exactly the detail that separates a paving job from quality paving work on an Englewood property.
